Belive that Dreams do come true!

Working for Honda has truly made a lot of my dreams come true. Besides, its even our company banner: "HONDA: The Power of Dreams".

Inspite of all this, I now am dreaming of something big. Something that will make a great change in my life. I may have a glimpse of what I want, but I still cannot see the whole picture. This dream is interconnected in all the aspects of my life: God, Family, career & country! I want this dream to affect the lives of many and inspire them to make themselves better as well!

I hope that as I continue to dream big, God would allow me the opportunity and probably every means necessary in achieving my dreams.

Politics: My Views & Opinion

Another monday to start the week! I did find it difficult to leave my bed today because me & my fiance are going to this far distant part of the city called: Caloocan. I'm not quite sure which is which, does it really start with a "C" or a "K"? Anyways, we were there to drop our invitation to the humble Mayor of that city, who happens to be my fiance's relative. Yup, we got him as our god parent for our wedding. Me & my fiance were a bit nervous on our way there because we're really not familiar with the place. Well just to cut to long story short, we gave our invitation and left right away because he's quite a busy man. You know how it is in politics, every minute of your time is occupied. That is, if you're really doing your part as a public servant.

I didn't report for work just precisely for that purpose, to meet the man. But at least I had a feeling of how politicians go through their day. I saw how demanding the job of a mayor is, it's really more like acting as a small president in a small town. I never really liked politics not because of how dirty it could be, but I really hate the thought of having enemies because of the people you will unintentionally hurt. My guess is that you could never really have friends in politics because its very difficult identifying one. You'll never know who'll be taking advantage of you and that sucks!!!

It amazes me so much while we were waiting there, the different people you could meet in the Municipal Hall. I just had this funny feeling that most of the people surrounding me (except for my fiance) where blood suckers and parasites on the loose. Sorry about this but this is what I felt at that time. I pity that man for I could see that his intentions were pure but its' quite obvious those people who are taking advantage of him. But I guess, that's what Public Service is all about, feeding the parasites!

Good thing though that I had my class today. My professor is also a member of CFC, so I felt for him on his thoughts about the community. Before we were sent home, I felt a deep stab on what he said: "The Catholic Church had failed in upbringing this country!" I know I'm part of what he's saying because I'm a pure breed practicing Catholic and I really feel for what he said.

Maybe its really about time to mix Politics with Religion! That's all I want to say for now. Whoever thought about dividing the state and religion is full of bullshit and darn stupid!!! Pardon me for the vulgar words, but its really the best one to use anyway! We could never really isolate one from the other or so to speak. So why in the hell did we put that in our book of laws? Could it be possible that our forefathers are atheist? No wonder why we're going nowhere because we never let God lead the way!

Change or Perish!

I was early for class yesterday, so the usual, I go to one of my favorite hang-out place: "The School Library!" (yeah, I know, I admit, I'm one of the nerdy boys during my high school days, but so what!!!) As always, I entered the comlab to check on my e-mails first and to check on my fan mails (bwahahaha!!!). Still having some ample time with nothing else to do, I had no other choice than to read the newspaper. Coming from a long vacation, I bared myself from opening my books. Besides, I've done my homework already!

Anyways, I glanced upon this very interesting article in the business section of The Philippine Daily Inquirer entitled: "Change or Perish!" by Franco G. del Rosario. Even though the article implies more on the improvement of running a business, change is very important in our everyday lives.

It saddens me so much to know that there are lot of people in this world who tends to become too complacent, most specially in the place where I work! In fact, I really hate people who doesn't want to improve on themselves. Call me a perfectionist or an idealist, but I'm a person who's very much open to change. I like to improve and I like to continuously learn from a lot of things. Maybe that's the reason why Sponge Bob got my attention. I like to make use of what I absorb! I guess in life, we really need to be flexible and dynamic because nothing is constant and everything will always change! As some of you might know, I'm getting married soon (in fact, a few more days!). I decided on this matter not because I was forced too (as what jhett, usually jokes about, grrrr!!!) but because I really want something new. I want something different for my life and from what I'm accustomed to do during my younger years. People do grow up, but that's not bad if we take it on a positive note. Getting old means getting better (try asking my Tatsky about this topic and he'll give you a lot of input!) I'm ready to accept changes in my life and in fact I want to be a "Change Agent". I want to have that opportunity to make things better!

Tomorrow is something different for me, I'll be having the rarest opportunity to be employed with the company I've been dreaming of working for years. If I get this chance, thank you very much God! If I don't, I'd still thank God for it for I know that there will still be a better tomorrow ahead of me. At least, I tried to make some changes in my life. Acceptance is the only key for Change. If we don't, then go perish!

Tired, but Happy :)

Another long weekend has come to pass and how fast did it came. Specially when your preparing for a wedding! Tiring as it may seem, things are slowly creeping up on me. My bride finally had here first trial make-up and did I realize that I was really going to marry a beautiful and wonderful woman. God really is full of surprises. Even though I have a lot of crazy thoughts already going through my mind (eg. money, money, money, career, career, career!!!!), God is already preparing something very special for me. Sorry for sounding so selfish at the moment, but really, I'm very excited now. I'm just so optimistic that the world is still and will continue becoming beautiful because God loves us so much.

My bride, when I saw her all made up, got me really excited. I'm just not trying to show it because I like to keep her interested on me. Knowing that her man is still mysterious in a way. Now I really can't wait for that moment to come, our wedding! I enjoyed our pre-nup pictorial session so much and it was only there that I began to realize that I had the potential of becoming a good fashion model, hahahaha!!! Hirap rin pala in a way, kasi nauubusan ako ng pose, bwahahaha!!!

About work, nahhh, leave it that way for awhile. But I'm really hoping for something new! Bahala na! As you know, I'm just as dedicated and passionate about my work, but the problem is that nobody really appreciates my potential! I know I have it in me what could be done to make things better. But maybe its really not yet my time to shine. So, I'll just continue becoming a better person and wish that, soon luck would finally land on my doors. If you know what I mean. :)

Now, its a sunday! Again that feeling of a final summer breeze. So lets just wait and see what would happen next. Bye :P

The President of the Republic

I've long been wanting to become the president of this damn good country! I don't know why, but I guess it may be due to my very idealistic own point of view. Although it may seem hypothetical, but what would you really do if you were the President of the Republic of the Philippines?

My first agenda would be is to really expand the operation of the MRT & LRT along the sides of the South & North Luzon Express Way. I wonder if anyone has ever thought about this idea or is it only me who have thought of this? My fiance loves to travel a lot and I seldom enjoy it when we travel 'cause most of the time I'm the one behind the steering wheel while she's the only one who enjoys the scenery! Sorry dates :) I'm just being honest. Even though I get so much enjoyment going behind the wheel, I do miss the opportunity of just being a back seat passenger at times. But most importantly, I guess this would really boost our economy not only because of the tourist it could potentially generate but an improvement on the livelihood of many since this will speed things up specially when your planning to work on the southern or northern portions of Luzon. Likewise, factories & other businesses could now transfer to the less chaotic portions of our country and start building up on the countryside. Come on people think hard about this please!!!!

Next would be is to make the month of April and May as "National G.K. Months". I've been a proud contributor for this cause due to my active involvement with SFC & CFC. Not only will it promote spiritual maturity, but most importantly nation-building and love of country! As you could see, these months are usually the months of summer, and who else enjoys these months the most, the youth! So why not get them actively involve, its their future anyway! So might as well let their creativeness and exuberance get in the way inorder for them to enjoy while at the same time nourishing their love for this country more. (Boy, my idealism really gets in my way!)

As a president, I would really like to be represented by a group of hard-rock, butt-kicking, extraordinary and appealing press secretaries. I could not imagine anybody else for this position except for the dynamic duo of "Chico & Del". Yeah, yeah, I'm an avid listener of this combo, mainly because of their wit and adlibs! So as an added incentive, I have agreed to transfer the Office of the Press Secretary at the Lobby of the RX Boot somewhere in Ortigas! Cellphones are now the wave of the future anyways, so it wouldn't be difficult to keep in touch with a busy man like me, hehehehe!!!!! Wouldn't this be very appealing to the masses?

To reduce government spendings and allocations, all public officials will now use Honda Jazz for better fuel economy and cute representations. Besides, I'm sure MMDA officials will like this, mahilig naman sila sa pink eh, hahaha!!! Sayang naman ang pagtrabaho ko sa Honda, noh!

It may sound a bit funny, but this is what I really want for my future government to project that: "Filipino People are Happy People". Its what this country can offer to the world: Happiness! Filipinos are fun-loving and smiling people. It's what I could say as our greatest asset, to always smile despite the uncertainties that lies ahead of us.

So would you all agree in electing me to that Office? Funny huh, but I'm ready for it!
